HERE’S YOUR EMPLOYEE TERMINATION CHECKLIST
Whether you hold the meeting on Tuesday or Friday, in the morning or late in the day, there are things you should be sure to plan ahead for your termination meeting, including:
- Time and place
- Effective date of the termination
- Reason for the termination
- What you will and will not say
- Attendees (HR, management)
- Benefits the terminated employee will be entitled to
- Confidentiality or non-compete agreements
- Final pay
