Each state, and in some cases each county or city, is responsible for setting its own minimum wage laws. Below are each state’s minimum wage listings with upcoming 2026 changes noted. Only states with changes in 2026 are listed. Depending on where you live, you may also need to check the laws in your city or county to see if there is a different minimum wage rate.
